Thomson Reuters Extends Alliance with Broker’s Ally
Exton, PA (January 15, 2010) Scherrer Resources, Inc. announced today that
Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) has extended its partnership and distribution agreement
of Broker’s Ally for their joint licensing, marketing, and technical transfer
agreement involving the two companies’ brokerage technology products. Scherrer
Resources’ popular Broker’s AllyTM software product is available through Thomson
Reuters and its Beta Unit for Windows platforms on both single user PC’s and
client/server applications.
Broker’s Ally is a practice management and database management system that includes
account information, notepads, and the scheduling of calls, meetings, and actions.
It also retains client information such as investment objectives, income, net worth,
and account numbers. Developed by Pennsylvania-based Scherrer Resources, Inc., the
Ally CRM products are used by more than 35,000 account management professionals and
their sales assistants worldwide. Thomson Reuters offers to install Broker’s Ally
as an integrated offering under this agreement.
